Tonight I can write the saddest lines

  • Jan 24, 2007
  • Post a comment

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write, for example, `The night is starry
and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance.'

The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not have loved her great still eyes.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her.

To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.

What does it matter that my love could not keep her.
The night is starry and she is not with me.

This is all. In the distance someone is singing. In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer.
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.

The same night, whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.

Another's. She will be another's. As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.

Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

Though this be the last pain she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her.

On love addiction

Psychology Today

Love addicts go through life with desperate hopes and constant fears. Fearing rejection, pain, unfamiliar experiences, and having little faith in their ability or right to inspire love, they wait and wish for love, perhaps their least familiar real experience.

The truth about cats and dogs

  • Jan 23, 2007
  • Post a comment

Reports on a study which reveals that some pet owners believe that their pets' personalities bear a distinct resemblance to their own. Possible reasons for the similarities.

Peter Dosckoch

Further proof that psychologists will never run out of silly human quirks tostudy: According to researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, cat and dog owners say their furry little friends' personalities bear a distinct resemblance to their own. Sociable individuals, for example, tend to describe their pets as more extroverted than other pets, while eggheads think their feline or canine companions are smarter than average. No wonder so many of us treat our pets like people, signing their pawprints to Christmas cards and proudly displaying their photos. Thankfully, the trend doesn't hold for a few personality traits, such as conscientiousness.

While it's likely that pet owners are projecting their own personalities onto their pets, it could also be a case of the tail wagging the dog. Outgoing folks may simply prefer sociable breeds, suggests Berkeley's Samuel D. Gosling, M.A.; or perhaps pets get rewarded for behaving like their owners.

A conversation between a girl and a boy

Girl: Bakit mo ko love? (Why do you love me?)

Boy: Sinabi ko na sayo yun. Naalala mo ba? (I already told you. Do you remember?)

Girl: Oo. Pero bakit mo nga ko love? (Yes. But why do you love me?)

Boy: It's because of the child in you.

(You'll probably hear me asking you the same question in a couple of days. I just want to hear it from you. It makes my day bright and shiny.)

I love ice cream. Yep. I. Do. Love. Ice. Cream. It never fails to bring back my calm mood. I wonder. Why do people eat ice cream when they are feeling down. I have to do a research. Haha!

Dazed and confused

I'm quite confused as to which site to maintain. I've joined numerous photo - blog - network sites (darn! I can't even remember the name of the site or my passwords!) such as Friendster, Multiply, Vox, Xanga, and so on. I don't know which account would be able to satisfy my needs and would suit my lifestyle. :P

Off to Pyro Olympics 2007!

This is it! This is the event that will make a dramatic change in my career in photography! nwehehe. Nangangarap lang po. I brought Lola, of course (my Canon A610). I took some pictures but..I should have purchased a tripod..Hay, I didn't know na magiging OA sa pagka-addict ako sa pictures. Pangit tuloy mga kuha ko.

Anyway, watching the fireworks at Esplanade was worth it. All you need is an SM receipt worth P100 and you're in! Astig talaga!

Here are some tips to help you survive in the jungle (hihi):
1. Be prepared.
2. Pack your things. Bring tissue, hand sanitizer, chips, flashlight, banig or sleeping bag or chair. Konti lang chair dun. Mas masaya kapag sa sahig ka naka-upo.
3. Be early. Gaya nga ng sinabi ko..get ready with bumper to bumper traffic :P Pumunta kayo ng medyo maaga para makahanap ng magandang parking slot
4. Important. Camera! Camera! Camera! Huwag kalilimutan ang camera. Masaya mag-kodakan kapag kasama mo ang iyong pamilya or kaibigan or ka-ibigan. Take wacky pictures
5. Do not leave your things unattended. Mag-ingat sa mga magnanakaw. Please note: medyo madilim sa lugar. Ingatan nyo ang inyong mga kagamitan! Mahirap na!
6. Enjoy the sight.

Friendships..watch tayo Pyro. I am just a text away :P Dyan lang ko sa TeleTech. Sun-Mon off ko. My shift starts at 11 am and it ends at 8pm. Nyak, corny!
